TRADITIONAL ISTRIAN STONE HOUSE 7km far from Duga uvala (sea) and 20 km far from Pula airport. It sits in the medieval pictoresque village Motvuran. Mutvoran is an old Istrian village located on the south eastern coast of Istria near Marcana. Mutvoran is one of rare Istrian villages with Renaissance architecture elements. A the entrance of Mutvoran you will note the impressive ruins of the old town gates and the tower. The medieval walls have been integrated in the later residential houses over time. There are also a number of houses with Renaissance facades. During the Roman period Mutvoran was a castrum and the castle of Mutvoran was one of the oldest castles in Istria.
